Once you connect to MPA-Public your laptop will remember this network and want to connect to it first, this is a problem since you will not be able to print and network access is limited. Follow these steps to remove the network from your wireless setup.
If you have MacOS Ventura (version 13) or later
- Click on the wireless icon when click on Wi-Fi Settings...
- In the Settings window find MPA-Public and click Details...
- Click Forget This Network...
- Confirm removal
After this your laptop will not longer connect to the public network.
Earlier versions of MacOS (prior to version 13-)
- Click on the wireless icon when click on Wi-Fi Settings...
- In the Settings click Advanced...
- Select MPA-Public from the list on click "-" and then Click OK
- Click Apply to confirm removal
