By default Google Chrome uses a built-in print dialog, as a result printing to the color printer in the library or the division office copiers will not work since you are not able to enter a department code which is required for these printers. Follow the directions outlined below to disable the native Chrome print dialog.
- In the Finder navigate to Applications and open the Manager application
When Manager opens make sure you are in the Self-Service window, if not click on the dropdown in the top left corner of the window to change to Self-Service.
Click on My Script in the list of choices on the left, from there click on Execute Script under "Disable Chrome native print dialog".
Once you click that you will see a message indicating that the command has been sent, you will not receive any feedback that the command has finished. Wait about one minute and then quit Chrome and reopen it. When you go to print now you should see the system dialog appear.
